Executive governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rejoiced and lauded the Celestial Church of Christ King of Kings Cathedral, CCC KOK, over the progress recorded by the church within a year of its establishment.
Speaking during the maiden Praise Concert organised by the church, Sanwo-Olu also used the opportunity to seek the cooperation of all religion institutions in the state to ensure continued security of the citizenry.
The governor, who was represented by his Special Adviser on Christian Religion, Revd. Bukola Adeleke, noted that faith-based institutions have a role to play in intimating their members on the need to be law abiding.
According to him, “I’m delighted to be here tonight. And indeed, God has been faithful for the milestones the church has achieved within the short period of its existence.
“The importance of institutions like this cannot be overemphasized and I, however, like to call on Lagos needs the cooperation of all religions keep Lagos safe.”

The event, which marked the sign off of celebrations lined up to mark a year CCC KOK has been in existence when it first opened its doors to the congregation back in 2021 when the former president of Nigeria, Aremu Olusegun Obasanjo commissioned the newly built cathedral. It harvest ceremony is tagged Harvest of Gratitude.
Also, the spiritual head of Celestial Church of Christ worldwide, Rev. EMF. Oshoffa, who was also present, prayed for the church, the state and the country as a whole.


Aside from the church choir, who blessed the congregants through music ministration, several other gospel artistes that ministered to the multitude included Pastor Adebayo Adelakun, the Ayewa crooner, Evangelist Akin Adebayo, the sensational Tope Alabi and Harjovy.
Other ministers of God that performed were Prophet Muyideen Moses Kasali, Segun Ajidara, Iremide, Yinka Ayefele, Moses Harmony and Bidemi Olaoba.
The highly successful maiden music concert event was compered by Evangelist Ibukun Oni and others, while Ayo Ajewole, popularly known as Woli Agba handled the comedy ministration.
Other activities included the choir ministration by the choristers from C.C.C.International Headquarters Church, Ketu and the launching of album by the host choir.
Agege Stadium, being the location of the event, had celestial faithfuls and guests trooping in at 7.00pm on the 9th of December. More than have of the main bowl of the stadium was filled with believers.
The final event to close the thanksgiving would be coming up on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the church auditorium when the Adult Harvest tagged Harvest of Gratitude would be taking place.
