The ancient city of Ibadan will experience sensational showers of praise on the 16th and 17th of December, 2021 as Asiwaju Rotimi Ajanaku set to thrill guests invited for his mother’s burial with highly inspirational music from Nigerian gospel artists.

In a release made available to Freelanews, Ajanaku, a shrewd and passionate industrialist cum politician said, “Our desire is to glorify God in our celebration of a life well spent by our loving mother. In this regard, our worship will be enriched by the participation of the notable gospel artistes like Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, Evangelist Tope Alabi, Lanre Teriba (Atorise), Segun Ajidara, Evangelist Esther Igbekele, Bunmi Akinnanu (Omijeojumi) and Aristos Band.”

The programme for the final burial ceremony of Mama Victoria Olakitan Ajanaku will start on Thursday December 16, 2021, with praise night at Jogor International Events Center, Off Liberty Road, Ibadan, between the hours of 1600 – 2000hrs. Artistes for the praise night are Evangelist Tope Alabi, Lanre Teriba (Atorise), Segun Ajidara, Evangelist Esther Igbekele and Bunmi Akinnanu (Omijeojumi).

The funeral service is programmed to take place at Christ Apostolic Church, Olúgbòde, Odo Ona, Ibadan at 11am, Friday 17th December, 2021 while reception would be held at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (formerly known as Liberty Stadium), off Ring Road, Ibadan, where Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, otherwise known as “Baba Commander” and Aristos Band will be entertaining guests.

May the soul of Mama Ajanaku continue to rest in peace.
