The feud resurfaced on Sunday after Akpororo shared an Instagram video advising Ogala to resolve her prolonged dispute with the clergyman privately.
The comedian said he had followed the matter since 2025 and argued that the backlash against Okafor was largely because he is a pastor.
According to Akpororo, similar relationship disputes occur regularly in Nigeria without attracting such intense public scrutiny.
He further accused the actress of mishandling the situation and leveraging the pastor’s clerical status, particularly by threatening to release videos of their alleged intimate moments.
He urged Ogala to stop escalating the issue online, describing her reactions as excessive and emotionally driven, and advised both parties to settle the matter discreetly.
However, the actress fired back in a strongly worded Instagram video on Monday morning, dismissing Akpororo’s right to comment on the matter.
Ogala accused the comedian of lacking the understanding to grasp the gravity of the situation and claimed she could be killed if she stopped speaking out publicly.
She further alleged that Akpororo’s intervention was influenced by financial benefits he had received from Pastor Okafor, claiming the comedian performs regularly at the cleric’s church.
Ogala went on to threaten the release of an alleged video involving Akpororo’s past sexual misconduct if he continued to interfere.
In her response, Ogala warned the comedian to stay out of the controversy, insisting that public disclosure was necessary for her safety and justice.
Akpororo, in turn, issued a defiant response in a separate Instagram post, daring the actress to carry out her threat.
He gave Ogala until the end of Monday to release the alleged video, stating that failure to do so would undermine her credibility.
The dispute stems from Ogala’s long-running allegations against Pastor Okafor, whom she accused of failing to fulfil a promise of marriage after over nine years of a relationship.
She later issued a legal notice demanding N1 billion in damages, citing emotional, psychological and reputational harm.
The actress was briefly arrested in December 2025 and later released following interventions by activist Omoyele Sowore and social media influencer Martins Otse.
Days later, Pastor Okafor publicly apologised to Ogala, acknowledging aspects of their past relationship.
Subsequent allegations from the pastor’s ex-wife and renewed claims by Ogala reportedly led Okafor to step aside from ministerial duties for one month.
The Lagos State Police Command has since commenced investigations into multiple allegations against the cleric at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
