The reality TV star and disc jockey opened up during the premiere episode, revealing that a post-show interview granted by Rhuthee was the breaking point in their decade-long friendship.
The two entered the Big Brother Naija house as long-time friends, their bond formed over nearly ten years of mutual loyalty.
But what started as a shared journey inside the reality show ended up exposing fault lines that, according to DJ Flo, could not be repaired.
Speaking on the reunion show, DJ Flo described the moment she realised the friendship had run its course.
She’s just not good for my energy anymore and that’s perfectly fine.
“I try not to have regrets, but I just truly believe that as much as I cherish what we had for 10 years… what really did it for me was the interview she had,” she said.
DJ Flo explained that Rhuthee’s post-show comments made her question everything.
“When I saw that she did an interview speaking on me, I needed to understand where she was coming from. That interview made me realise that I might have love for this person, but we’ve gotten to a point where we should go our separate ways. She’s just not good for my energy anymore—and that’s perfectly fine.”
Their falling-out has sparked strong reactions online, with fans weighing in on whether the pressures of the BBNaija house exposed hidden tensions or simply accelerated an inevitable end.
