The new prices, effective immediately, now range from ₦875 to ₦905 per litre, varying by geographical location.

This latest adjustment signifies a ₦15 reduction per litre across all regions and participating retail outlets.

The new pricing applies to major fuel marketers in partnership with the refinery, including MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.

A breakdown of the revised prices shows:
Lagos: ₦875 per litre (down from ₦890)
South-West: ₦885 per litre
North-East: ₦905 per litre (down from ₦920)
North-West & Central: ₦895 per litre
South-South & South-East: ₦905 per litre (down from ₦920 for South-South & South-East)

This development follows a prior announcement on Monday by the 650,000 barrels-per-day Lekki-based refinery, which attributed its ability to reduce petrol prices to a naira-for-crude deal.

In a statement signed by its Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, Dangote Refinery reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Nigerian economy and alleviating the burden of rising fuel costs on consumers by maintaining price stability.
