Bamigbola emerged unopposed during the party’s governorship primary held on Sunday in Osogbo, the state capital.

According to party officials, 295 delegates from all 30 local government areas voted in a voice affirmation to elect Bamigbola as the party’s flagbearer.

Presiding officers from the party’s national secretariat supervised the exercise, ensuring full compliance with party guidelines.

Bamigbola was officially declared winner at exactly 11:00 a.m., following the completion of all requirements stipulated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The party’s flag was formally handed over to him, confirming his emergence as the Authentic Accord Party’s governorship candidate for the 2026 Osun election.
