BNXN wants Manchester United signing Victor Osimhen to solve striker problem as he urges the club to invest in top talent for upcoming season

Nigerian music star Daniel Etiese Benson, known globally as BNXN, has voiced his opinion on who he believes Manchester United should sign ahead of the next football season.

In a recent interview with ESPN UK, the afrobeats sensation declared his support for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as the ideal addition to the Red Devils’ squad.

The singer, who is an avid Manchester United supporter, made his suggestion clear and precise.

“There’s one player I think Manchester United should sign now, it’s Osimhen,” BNXN said. “I think we need a striker. A proper striker, I can’t lie.”

BNXN’s comments come at a time when Manchester United are under immense pressure to rebuild a solid squad capable of competing for major titles.

The club has struggled with consistency in the attacking third, often rotating players and relying on short-term solutions.

Victor Osimhen, currently playing for Napoli in the Italian Serie A, has been on the radar of top European clubs following his stellar performances over the past two seasons.

Known for his explosive pace, physicality, and clinical finishing, Osimhen has become one of Africa’s top football exports.

BNXN believes Osimhen would provide the kind of firepower that the team currently lacks.

“We need someone hungry and sharp in front of goal. Osimhen is that guy. He has the energy, the mentality, and he’s Nigerian too – what more can we ask for?” he added.

Though Osimhen would likely command a high transfer fee, fans and football analysts alike agree that he could be a transformative signing for Manchester United.

We need someone hungry and sharp in front of goal. Osimhen is that guy. He has the energy, the mentality, and he’s Nigerian too – what more can we ask for?

The team has long searched for a consistent frontman since the departure of Romelu Lukaku and the decline of Anthony Martial’s form.

In the same interview, BNXN also expressed interest in seeing Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal or Brazilian winger Raphinha wear the Manchester United jersey.

“It would be either between Osimhen or Lamine Yamal. I would really love to see Yamal or Raphinha in our team,” he said.

These statements highlight BNXN’s deep connection to the club and his growing interest in football beyond just being a spectator.

He joins a list of entertainers who are vocal about their football preferences, showing how the worlds of sport and music often collide.

BNXN, formerly known as Buju, is known for his emotive lyrics and genre-blending style. His music has touched millions, and now his football opinions are beginning to make waves as well.

In recent months, BNXN has shared snippets of his football takes online, occasionally bantering with fans of rival clubs.

His admiration for Victor Osimhen also reflects the pride many Nigerians feel about their athletes excelling on the global stage.

Manchester United has not yet made official moves for Osimhen, but the transfer window remains open, and fans are hopeful the club will invest wisely.

Until then, supporters like BNXN will continue to make their voices heard, hoping the club listens.
