While introducing herself at the prestigious event, Annie initially attempted to mention ‘Idibia’ as her surname but quickly corrected herself, stating, “I am Annie Macaulay, I am a single lady.” This candid moment publicly signalled the end of her marriage to 2Baba.

The couple, once seen as one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity duos, had faced public speculation about their relationship in recent times.

Reports suggested they had parted ways after 2Baba was seen romantically linked with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

Adding to the controversy, 2Baba’s mother reportedly raised concerns that Natasha had used mystical powers to entrap her son.

In a viral video, 2Baba was seen introducing Osawaru to his family and community in Benue State as the woman he intended to marry.
