Allwell Ademola’s brother publicly apologises to Iyabo Ojo for past remarks, seeking forgiveness during the late actress’s service of songs

The brother of the late actress Allwell Ademola has publicly apologised to actor Iyabo Ojo after previously criticising her for allegedly not supporting his sister while alive.

Allwell Ademola’s younger brother had earlier called out Iyabo Ojo, actor Lateef Adedimeji, and other Nigerian A-listers for posting pictures of the late actress following her death.

Iyabo Ojo responded at the time, stating, “I over supported your sister when she was alive. I featured in her movies countless times for free.”

During the service of songs for Allwell Ademola on Thursday, 8 January 2026, her brother personally approached Iyabo Ojo to apologise.

He said while prostrating, “Big mummy, please don’t be offended. You can see that I didn’t abuse you in the viral video. Please, I’m sorry.”

Iyabo Ojo embraced him and replied, “O ti lo (it’s a thing of the past). To God, I have forgiven you.”
