According to eyewitness reports, Achimugu was seen attempting to physically push the journalist and verbally threatening to break their mobile phone for recording her presence at the court.

The incident reportedly occurred as the Channels TV reporter was carrying out their professional duty of documenting the proceedings.

Sources indicate that Achimugu took exception to being filmed and reacted aggressively towards the journalist.

This alleged assault on a member of the press raises concerns about the conduct of individuals facing serious charges and the importance of allowing journalists to perform their work without fear of intimidation or violence.

It remains unclear if the reporter sustained any injuries or if any formal complaint has been filed regarding the incident.
