Wizkid, Burna Boy and Asake are confirmed as Afro Nation 2026 headliners in Portugal, with tickets on early access from February 5
Popular Nigerian artistes Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Asake have been confirmed as headliners for the 2026 edition of the Afro Nation festival in Portugal, organisers announced on Thursday.

The three-day event will take place from July 3 to July 5, 2026, at Praia da Rocha Beach, featuring a mix of Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall, and amapiano stars from across Africa and the diaspora.
Grammy Award winner Burna Boy will headline the opening night on July 3, performing alongside South African sensation Tyla.
Asake will take centre stage on July 4, while the festival will close with a headline performance by Wizkid on July 5.
American R&B singer Kehlani and rapper Gunna are also listed as special guests, adding international appeal to the festival. Other Nigerian acts confirmed include Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Wande Coal, and Mavo.
The organisers revealed the lineup via X (formerly Twitter), describing it as “Legacy energy meets Afro Nation debuts.
This is the sound of a summer taking shape.” Early access tickets will be available from 10 AM GMT on Thursday, February 5.
Afro Nation, one of the world’s largest celebrations of African music and culture, has consistently showcased leading Nigerian talent.
