Ado-Odo/Ota federal constituency deserves federal appointments, says APC leader Ojolowo-Ojuko, citing top election performance and political loyalty to Tinubu
Ado-Odo/Ota federal constituency has earned the right to federal recognition, according to a passionate open letter addressed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Hon. Olusegun Ojolowo-Ojuko, a respected APC chieftain and grassroots mobilizer in Ogun State.

In the letter, Ojolowo-Ojuko emphasized that the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, which ranked fifth in votes for the APC during the 2023 presidential election, is the highest-performing APC local government in the entire South-West.
Unlike others in the top five, it was the only one actually won by the APC, making its contributions uniquely significant.
He described the exclusion of Ado-Odo/Ota from federal appointments as “disheartening” and “unjust,” stating, “We gave our all and deserve more than silence.”
With over 400,000 registered voters, the local government represents an electoral powerhouse capable of delivering over 100,000 votes in future elections—if politically empowered.
Ojolowo-Ojuko, a former SSA to Governor Dapo Abiodun, clarified that his letter is not about political patronage, but about fairness, equity, and recognition of loyalty.
He urged Tinubu to consider competent indigenes of the constituency for roles such as special advisers, board chairpersons, or directors-general, stressing that representation will not only reward commitment but also strengthen support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
